Dell recently received an email to their technical support department from a customer explaining that their Dell 3115cn A4 colour multifunction printer was caught up in a tornado that had hit their office.
Below is the email with the photo of the printer:
Mr. Taylor,
It has been a long while since I’ve had to contact Tech support for any issues with my 3115cn printer. I do, however, remember how helpful your staff was each time I called. I wanted to share a photo of my 3115cn on 4/28/2011, less than 24hrs after an EF-4 rated tornado directly hit my office. A couple of days after the tornado, it was moved inside, but without much hope that it actually survived. About three weeks later I found the power cord. I plugged it up with crossed fingers, and I’ll be damned if it didn’t make me a blk/white copy…and then a perfect color copy. I can’t fax on it anymore, as the feeder tray at the top no longer works, and it gives me a blue hue when I copy, as the lid doesn’t shut all the way, but, I can print anything from my computer and it’s perfect! Just wanted to share this with you guys.
Stay safe!
Renee Roberts
