MP Embarrassed By Printer Problem

July 27th, 2010 Posted in General, Industry News

The need to be organised when needing to use printer ink has been highlighted by one Conservative MP who ended up missing an important debate.

Richard Graham arrived late at Westminster Hall for a debate about apprentices after running into problems when attempting to print his speech.

The Gloucester MP was meant to be leading the debate, which had to be cancelled as a result of some paper jamming his printer as he looked to print his speech.

Mr Graham is now hoping that the speech can be rearranged for a later date.

According to the BBC, he said: “I spent all night on the speech, at the crucial moment when I printed it out, unfortunately it jammed. By the time I’d fixed it I got to Westminster Hall 45 seconds late.

“It’s very embarrassing, we learn from our mistakes.”
