Global printer manufacturer Xerox is to give money to four charity aid organisations working to help with the aftermath of the devastating Haiti earthquake.
The company said that it would be giving a total of $300,000 to the relief organisations which will include $100,000 to the American Red Cross to help with the supply of water, food, shelter and medical care.
Another $100,000 is to go to Save the Children, who are working on reuniting displaced children with family members.
International medical foundations Medecins Sans Frontieres and Concern Worldwide will receive $50,000 each to help with their efforts in providing medical attention to those who need it.
In a statement, Xerox said: “Although we have no direct employees in Haiti, Xerox conducts business there through a business partner. Many Xerox people have families in Haiti and some have lost family members or friends. As we have done so often before, Xerox is committed to being a part of the solution.”
