Samsung refreshes laser printer range

Samsung has announced a full refresh of its range of laser printers. We’re particularly excited by their new entries in the compact colour and mono laser printer market. The CLP-320 is set to take over from our long-standing favourite CLP-315 as the world’s smallest colour laser printer.
Meanwhile, in the monochromatic world, the ML-1660 (pictured) and ML-1665, with print speeds of 16ppm, are claimed to be the world’s smallest mono laser printers. We don’t expect any major increases in the devices’ print speeds or their predecessors’ already excellent print quality, but we’ll be surprised if we don’t see some extra usability features across the range.
Many of the new printers and MFPs will include the Print Screen button, which we first saw last year on the ML-1915 compact mono laser.
Samsung has also announced that the CLX-3185, an update to the Budget Buy winning CLX-3165 will be one of the first Samsung personal laser MFPs to have an Eco-copy button on its front panel. This will allow users to automatically shrink two pages and print them on a single sheet of A4.
