Epson: new Hemel Hempstead site
Digital print equipment manufacturer Epson has relocated to a new Hemel Hempstead site following 20 years of residence at its previous Maylands Avenue location.
The company’s new Westside facility will house more than 250 Epson UK and Europe staff, as well as an improved demonstration area and facilities to run the manufacturer’s ‘Print Academy’ courses.
Epson’s Westside location features a raft of environmentally friendly measures, including reduced energy usage, lighting fitted with movement sensors and air conditioning units with energy sourced from renewable sources.
The company’s measures tie into its Environmental Vision 2050, which aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 90% across the lifecycle of all products and services by the year 2050.
