Latest MFPs aimed at small and medium businesses

Oki’s new printers now come with duplex printing as standard

In what it hopes is a winning strategy, printer maker Oki has launched a series of mono multifunction printers for small to medium businesses.

The MB400 series of black-and-white MFPs are network-ready and offer “a broad range of functions typically required by users to support their day-to-day business activities,” says Oki.

All models feature the manufacturer’s digital LED technology, with print and copy throughput of up to 28 pages per minute (ppm) and duplex printing as standard.

The MB460 model offers high-quality mono printing, copying and colour scanning in one compact device.

The MB480 adds high-speed faxing and boasts PCL/PostScript and true 1200 x 1200dpi printing for more detailed images and crisper text. In addition it has a larger paper capacity and higher-yield toners for lower running costs.

For smaller businesses, the MB400 offers the established MFP’s advantages of space-saving together with lower purchase costs and a low total cost of ownership.

Martin Deignan, sales and marketing director for Oki in Ireland, notes that the MB400 series brings to the desktop MFP “all Oki’s traditional values of robust technology, cost-effectiveness, strong functionality and ease of use.”

Street prices for the MB400 Series start at €349 excluding VAT. All models in the MB400 series carry Oki’s three-year on-site warranty.
